Why accounts get linked
Fingerprint noise hides nothing. It just moves the tell.
Detection models do not look for one value. They look for values that disagree with each other, and for the same values showing up behind different accounts.
Noise painted over your real machine
Most tools draw random noise on top of whatever your Mac actually renders. The noise is consistent; the machine underneath is not. Open the profile on a second computer and the picture changes.
Values that contradict each other
A config that says MacBook Air with a 4K screen, 24 cores and a Windows font list describes a machine that has never existed. Coherence is exactly what detection models score.
One tell shared by every profile
When the GPU string, screen size and core count read through from the host, every profile on that Mac carries the same signature.
What Redacted does instead
One measured machine per profile, applied where a page reads it.
A catalog of real machines
Each profile is assigned one measured Mac: cores, memory, screen, pixel ratio, colour depth, gamut, HDR, GPU and clock. The values come from a real machine running real Chrome, so they agree with each other.
Applied inside the engine, not painted on
The device is signed into the launch and read by Chromium itself: in the page, in workers and in cross-origin frames. CSS media queries agree with what script reports.

The device rides with the profile. Open it on your laptop or on the office Mac and a page sees the same machine, with the same cookies and sessions.

The changes live inside the Chromium engine and are checked by a signed record on every launch. Nothing is injected into the page, so there is nothing for a script to find.

Bit-exact rendering
No canvas noise. Fills, geometry, WebGL and audio hash exactly as real Chrome does, so nothing reads as tampered.
A runtime that verifies itself
Before every launch the engine checks all 689 of its files against a signed record. One changed byte and it refuses to start.
Proxies done right
HTTP and SOCKS5 per profile, pools for teams, credentials never on a command line. The profile's clock follows the proxy's exit.
Profiles that travel
Stop a profile and its cookies, sessions and storage are saved to your workspace. Launch it again from any Mac you are signed in on.
Quiet by default
Google's background reporting and update traffic is blocked inside the engine. A profile talks only to the sites you open.

macOS says the app cannot be verified. Is it safe?
Early-access builds are not yet notarized with Apple, so macOS shows that warning for any download. Open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway next to Redacted Browser. The download page has the full steps and the file's SHA-256 checksum so you can confirm it is the build we published.
How is this different from adding noise to the fingerprint?
Noise is drawn over whatever your real machine renders, so the picture changes on another computer and can read as tampered. Redacted assigns a whole measured device and applies it inside the engine, and it does not touch rendering at all.
Is using an antidetect browser allowed?
Use it for accounts you are authorized to operate and follow each platform's terms. Redacted gives you isolation and consistency; it does not give you permission.
